Hey There,

So, I though tI'd share just a little about me. I've been reading for a long time - since I was probably 2 or 3. Then in the winter / spring of '06 I was asked to consider a startup focused on reading.

And here I am, working on Shelfari! more »

Twain rocks today's gen XBoxers, detailing how to be a boy...
After growing up without reading much American Literature, I read Huckleberry Finn about a while back. It's an awesome tail, giving thought to a nostalgic time in history of when boys played the way boys should play. I am not impressed with today's gen X'ers, who live & sleep XBox's. As for the underside of the book - yeah, plenty of racism, but really, it's a view of history that is authentic of times past. Great book, if you ask me.

If you ever wanted a scientific (yet perhaps, fictional) proof of how God could exist, this story explains it.

Abbott goes into details that illustrate clearly how a 4th Dimension "Being" (God) is beyond our comprehension, other then to say we could accept it's possible. To visit the 4th Dimension however, would likely drive us crazy, just as how the primary character in this book visited the 3rd Dimension and was promptly outlawed in his 2 Dimensional world.

Interesting book, talks of how Wal-Mart rose through the ranks from 1950 to current day, bankrupting all competitors along the way...
