Hey Kyle, I know that you are definitely into Spiritual Formation, and I think I gotta good recommendation for you. The book is the Inner Way by Joseph J. Allen. The book is wrecking me (in a good way). It's about spiritual Direction in the Eastern Orthodox tradition. It has definitely become one of my top reads!

Hey man, I was just seeing how you are doing these days. Are you still in Scotland with your wife? Do you have any crazy/cool plans in the future? I read your book ages ago (so like 9 months ago) and was just thinking about it a little more recently.

    Hope all is well.

p.s...if you are scratching your head wondering who I am, we don't know each other personally, just through Shelfari.

I can read several commentaries; Matthew Henry, Ironside, FF Bruce, and then I'll read William Barclay and it will all come together and I'll understand. My dad has all of his commentaries and that is how I was introduced to him. My dad was in the process of having Barclay come to Houston, Tx to speak when he died suddenly, I believe this was in 1978. I am told many Christians do not like him. Very nice to know you.

Hey Kyle - thanks for accepting my offer of friendship. You and I clearly have much in common...I am an author (three books published and the next one due out in 2008). Do you also write for magazines? Beyond our work, I am crazy about Scotland - would live there if given a chance.

Take care and I'm looking forward to getting to know you!

Kyle - I picked up your book "Metamorpha" at Borders about 2 months ago because the title caught my eye. It is getting closer to being read, if work would just stop getting in the way. Thanks for being an influence.
