I am a 40 year old mom living in Georgia. I mostly like to read mysteries and general fiction, but I do read some non-fiction, self-help, and even have read some true crime! As long as the author can keep me entertained, I am up for it! Although I am very educated, I am not a fast reader. I am the type that has to read in almost complete silence to really get into the book. I think my 12 year old boys can read faster than me! I also have been known to give up on many a book. I read somewhere that life is too short to finish a book just to finish it. If I am not enjoying the book by halfway through, then I usually move on to something else. I suppose I am somewhat picky. I am excited to meet other book lovers and to maybe discover some new authors! « less
