Hello! My name is Kim (obviously). I graduated with a B.S. in Avian Sciences from UC Davis in June of 2010. Since then, I have worked as a temporary employee for Cardno ENTRIX helping to conduct avian-related surveys on the Gulf Coast and East Coast regions. I also work part-time with Borders Books and have been doing so since the summer of 2007. This should probably hint that I love both animals and books, which I do. Cars (particular American Muscle/Mopars/Drag racing, etc.) are also a passion, as is writing and drawing though I've grown rather lazy as of late. Sometimes I think I have too many interests to keep up with them!
After graduating I decided I wanted to read as much as I could. During my last deployment to the East Coast, I read 9 books in 3 weeks. I intend to try and at least read one to two books a month this year and so far I'm off to a good start. Though I love solid paper books, I decided to invest in a Kindle in February. Carrying all those books around just costs too much money when traveling as I do. At first I didn't like the idea of these eReaders, but I must admit this charming little bundle of plastic is slowly working its way into my favor.
