I've loved books for as long as I can remember...
...Which probably explains why I have books lying around all over the place! ;)

I like to read a lot of different kinds of books, (mostly fiction though), including graphic novels, mangas, and manhwas.

My all-time favourite genre of book is fantasy.

Hi Kaylyn, I am reviewing requests for book combinations. I have researched your request to combine Hex Hall and Raising Demons and although one source did say they were the same book (http://www.fantasticfiction.co.uk/), all other sources including numerous book reviews say that Raising Demon is actually an alternate title for the second book in the series, Demonglass. I have denied the request to combine Hex Hall and Raising Demons. If you have additional information for this combine, please let me know. Thanks!

    Hi,

Just wanted to let you know that it isn't necessary or useful to do contributor changes for every edition of the same title. (The Bowden changes.) Once those editions are combined, all those contributor changes are thrown away. What such redundancy does do, though, is clog up the contributors queue. We have to process them to get them off the list so that we can get to the remaining entries on the queue.

The best approach is to do the combination first and, if needed, do a contributor change on the resulting combined version. You are saved a bunch of effort and the queue is less impacting by redundant edits.

Does that make sense? Let me know if you have questions.

Thanks so much for all your hard work in cleaning up the catalog!

Dear Kaylyn, Thank you so much for finding the book "Song of the Wild" for me. I read it as a child and within a year I went back to the small library I had checked it out of and none of the librarians had any idea about the book. Over the years I had asked many children's librarians about the book and no one had any idea either. I was starting to think I must have dreamed the plot line. Thank you so much for finding the title for me. I just ordered the book and hope it is as great as I remember.

I am. It was my brows and eyelids. My doctor approved for me to do them because they were causing my sight to be blurred, but I can see wonderfully now and I look good.
All I have left is a little red spots but it will heal in no time.

Thanks for dropping by. I'll visit you soon.

    Well...welcome then.
I'm sorry it took me so long to respond your nice letter, but I've had surgery and was going through the process of healing from it.
It is nice getting to know people here that are interesting in reading, so I'm sure you'll find it a nice place to belong to.
