  Thanks for your comments on Travels with Lizbeth. I just finished reading the book and enjoyed it immensely. You're right, it was more humorous than sad, but I did get all misty-eyed during the scene when Lizbeth was taken away.

  The people I work with are so rude. They remind me of that one character. The rude one. They say things like, "no, I don't care how many friends you have ... I just don't like reading. And your feet smell," they say. Its been a long day. I wish they would blame the smell on the hippies.
