Reading is an escape, an adventure, an experience, a trip to someplace I've never been. It has to move both the mind and the emotion.

Hi! Unfortunately, I still haven't finished Venus In Furs, as I've been quite busy as of late. XD Right now I'm reading Sergei Lukyanenko's Nightwatch series.

Hi Kato! Doing good. Went through my surgery last September. On medication maintenance and regular monitoring. I moved to another ad agency after 13 years in J. Romero. Am now with Harrison Communications (part of the McCann Worldgroup). It's been very busy but fun so far =) And how have you been? Nice to bump into you in cyberspace =)

Wouldn't it be fun meeting Filipino shelfarians online? Talking about favorite books, Filipino or otherwise. Sharing great places to find bargain books. Talking about local events that get book geeks like us excited. Join the group Flips Flipping Pages to get the most out of the shelfarian experience.

    Hello!

You've got a copy of Venus In Furs! I have one too, but I haven't gotten round to reading it yet.

Have you read any De Sade?

Stardust is one of my favorites. I like the dialogue and the subject matter of show business. I was disappointed with the contrived staging of how it was determined who the harrasser/killer was but I guess even RBP isn't perfect. Maybe he had a deadline to meet.

Thanks. I got a bookshelf just for his work and I need a bigger shelf.

Your collection, however, is much larger and more diverse.

Thanks for adding me to your Friend's list.

I look forward to stimulating chats with you.

You have great books on your shelf! I thought that you might want to join a budding discussion group based around "The Vagina Monologues". http://www.shelfari.com/ClubBooks.aspx?ClubId=10072 should get you there :-)
