A passionate reader from a young age, I finally said goodbye to my shelves of books to move to the Netherlands in March 2008. After buying many expensive paperbacks (most of which I didn't actually WANT to read, they were just the only choice), my boyfriend gave me an e-reader for Christmas 2009 and I haven't looked back since!
With a particular soft-spot for zombie and post-apocalyptic novels, the Holocaust and historical fiction, I own and read almost any fiction, from easy summer reads, crime and mystery, classics and modern classics, black humour to non-fiction World War II and World War I.
Although work greatly interferes with my reading time, I squeeze in a few minutes wherever I can and enjoy nothing more than curling up on the sofa on a cold winter night with a hot drink and a good book! « less
