Death, the narrator of the story, gives away a lot of the important plot points in the book early on, but that just makes the suspense worse. You KNOW what's going to happen, all the destruction, all the DEATH, and yet you don't know how. You can't stop it, and every second just builds up the nerves, the suspense, the screams for a kiss... Until the last domino falls. The domino effect is complete, everyone dies. Liesel never breaks her promise. And it's... Oh my gosh! If the cover confuses you, start looking for the domino effect from the beginning. One event leads to another. Each domino causes the next to fall. Suspense builds as you watch each fall to the next. You know how it ends, you can see that last domino, and waiting for it to fall just makes you more and more excited, until it comes crashing down. And then you have to pick up all the pieces... But how? There are so many, and you just can't, because you're so tired and you've been through so much... You'll see it in the book. And you'll dread the moment where the last domino falls. When the book thief finally gives her final kiss goodbye. One of the best books I've ever read. I don't care if you hate each and every book in existence. READ IT!!!! This book is SO amazing!!!!”
