I'm a 25 year old student in Frankfurt/Main, Germany and have been a book addict for as long as I can think.
At first, I read in German only, but in 2001 I realized that I was far too fast with my reading and it was getting really expensive. After thinking about this "problem" for a while, I happened to be in Malta for a language holiday, when I all of a sudden was out of books - and so I bought John Grisham's The Runaway Jury.
Ever since that time I knew how to solve my problem with the expensive book byuing habit ;-) I now read my books in English, keep a nice TBR stack (though I hope to be able to downsize it quite a bit this year), and try to stick to paperbacks as good as possible. « less
