I love to write, read, sing, and play guitar. I've loved reading since I was about five, and I became an avid reader after overcoming the reading and writing struggles I had as a kid. I love books, and I love realistic fiction the most. Books inspire me to be a better person, and so has poetry and songs.

This book was really well written. I felt the emotion leaping off of the page when I read it, and I learned about something that happened in history that I never knew about before.

This story was so well written, but the ending made me angry. I find it unfair that Anna ended up dying after fighting for medical emancipation throughout basically the entire book. It was like irony if you ask me. Kate's been struggling all her life with cancer, and I think it was her time to go, not Anna's. Anna didn't even get to figure out who she was or what she wanted to do with her life. But all in all, this story was great.

This book really is as amazing as people say it is. I think all High School English classes should read this book, because it teaches valuable lessons everyone needs to know. The most gut wrenching part for me was when Clay was listening to his tape, and inputting his thoughts as Hannah was speaking. This book is permanently etched in my mind, and I will forever think about it.

I really liked this book. At first glance, you'd think you wouldn't like it, but come to find you can't put it down! I really disliked the ending. I couldn't believe George killed Lennie! Lennie didn't have to die, even George said so, but he killed him anyways. I found it to be cruel and unfair on Lennie's part. He didn't know any better. The part that took my breath away was how hesitant and shakey George was when he pulled the gun out to kill him. I nearly cried. It was intense.

I loved how Jaypaw was getting more in touch with Star Clan and he helped save the kits from Windclan.

I loved this book, but what bothered me was how they aren't even warriors yet, and Firestar when he was young, became kittypet, apprentice, and warrior all in one book.

This book was very interesting. I loved how Laurie Halse Anderson used a moment in history to tell a story of her own creations.

Gosh, this is my absolute favorite book! I love Hinton's display of gangs and how they can be so different, yet so alike at the same time. My favorite character is Johnny Cade, and that's because he is so quiet and misunderstood, that a lot of people could relate to him. He is such a powerful character that people couldn't help but cry when he died, and I believe that if this story had the chance of being told in his point of view as well as Ponyboy's, it would be even more dramatic. Also, after this book, I believe that S.E. Hinton's other books weren't as good. This one was just so powerful, people can't get enough of it and they can't put it down! Thank you S.E. Hinton for an amazing book! Stay Gold!

This book was very sad, and itn depressed me at times, but it definately had a point. People tend to hide themselves by an invisible mask and they don't reveal their true feelings. I loved that this book showed you the world in a way people would never think it to be.

I thought that the book was confusing at first, and I disliked the language and the slang terms used in it. After a while, I got used to the language, and I was able to concentrate on the book. I thought the ending was sad, but it left a cliffhanger. They didn't actually say whether or not Violet would live or die, but by the writing you could probably guess that she was dead. I disliked Titus towards the end of the book, because he ended up ignoring Violet and moving on in his life like he never even met her. Then again, you can tell that he was in love with her at the time, and he couldn't face the fact that he was going to lose her......so he tried to avoid it. I really liked the part where Titus was explaining to Violet about the hide and seek games he played when he was younger at Link's house, trying to level with her about how she felt then. The ending was very sad, because Titus was at her bedside the last few minutes she was alive, crying and telling her their story. I recommend this book for those readers who want to be challenged more.
