I really hope to get to Passage to India this year too! I seem to gravitate toward Forster in the summertime, for some odd reason!

My dear, for some reason I cannot send you a friendship invite, so please try it from your end. Once that's taken care of, I can invite you to join Anglophiles Anonymous and you can join the ranks.

Dear Mrs. Bucket, His Lordship thanks you very much indeed for your kind but vague invitation to one of your renowned Candlelight Suppers. He wonders if you will solemnly swear to participate to the best of your ability in the group and not be a dreaded Lurker, and also whether you might consider taking on an alias of some kind, as the reputation of Hyacinth Bucket may intimidate other members who are not so genteel. Please advise.

Katherine, how do you add a book to "I'm reading" shelf? I keep trying but it ends up on my shelf that I have read already. I notice you have some books in you are reading section.
    Thanks for your help.

As far as the 50 books in a year.... sounds good to me. Can I count the three I read since January? Smile...

Hello Katherine, thanks for asking to be my friend. I am happy to accept.
I just read a book called The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants. It was recommended by my granddaughter... age 14. How could I refuse? And it was great. We are going to watch the movie together now.
Before that one I just finished The Life of Pi. That one blew me out of the water!
    What do you recommend?

Hi, my name is Maree. I just finished The Life of Pi. I noticed you added it to your list also. What did you think of it? Will you accept me as a friend so we can discuss this book? I loved it, to say the least.
    Thanks, Maree
