    Welcome to the group based on the book 1001 Books You Must Read Before You Die.
    There is a general explanation of the group under the discussion thread GROUP GUIDELINES.
    The books of the month (BOTM) that the group is reading are pinned to the top. May BOTM have been;
    1. Choke by Palahniuk, Chuck, 2. Dr. Zhivago by Boris Pasternak 3. Titus Groan by Mervyn Peake 4. Works of Poe
    We are also starting something new. It will be a Long Read consisting of books from the list that are greater than a 1000 pages. The group will be starting with War and Peace by Tolstoy. Which is a May, June and July read.
    June’s BOTM are The God of Small Things by Roy, Wide Sargasso Sea by Rhys and Midnight’s Children by Rushdie. I will post new discussion questions in June.

    Thank you, it's worth a try -- it sounds like it's quite a bit shorter process than what I've attempted in the past -- I'l let you know....

    Hey, Karolyne. What did you think about here if you need me? I read it in our summer book group at church.
