I have always loved to read. I hung out at the school library in elementary school and am serving on the Friends of the Roxbury Twp Library board today.

I worked in NYC for 12 years and if it hadn't been for audiobooks, I wouldn't have lasted 2 years. I've progressed from cassettes, to CDs and now listen on my MP3 as I toodle around... more »

How to De Junk your Life looks good. I read a book years ago called Clutter's Last Stand that started me on a cleaning up process. I started small...One drawer at a time till it was all done. The last chapter also dealt with people in your life that may not be good for you.

I also just saw Moon Shot ( I think) on your shlef...about the moon trip. I have got to find that book!!! I love books about soace...fiction and non fiction. I liked Voyage by Stephen Baxter that dealt with what would have happened if we did not go the shuttle route and went for Mars instead. It was a long detailed book and people say not Baxter's best but I liked it a lot and so did hubby.

Hi Karm, I noticed your review for Cream Puff Murder and thought I would make a recommendation. I've reviewed it with PBT and Ellen R picked it up in audio. She agreed with me that it's a terrific book and she said the reader did a really good job (I'd actually read the print version). Since you like mysteries and audio, I thought I'd recommend this to you. It's a real sleeper since people who read mysteries might not pick it up since it looks like a western. There are actually three books in the series and each of them is very good. Let me know if you decide to give it a try.

I saw your note on my bunny hop thread and went to check out yours - then when I saw how many mysteries you had lined up I had to come see your shelf. I'm surprised we don't have more books in common - we will, after I add a bunch of yours to my TBR shelf!

I'm re-posting my note from the Cheerleader group here in case you miss it.

Karm, I'm confused. I think you are supposed to be cheering Litwits but I just saw you cheer for Readers. Since I was supposed to cheer for Readers - do you want me to do the Litwits. We'll just change places? I just don't want anyone to go without a cheer! :-)
