I am a SAHM of two wonderful kids. I am a Sunday School teacher. I love books, purses and shoes.

When I choose a book to read, I usually lean more toward entertainment for my brain (mind-candy, if you will). I usually don't go for books that are educational, autobiographies, or biographies. But of course there are exceptions if... more »

I enjoyed this book. It had some of it's funny moments, but I didn't see much of her overactive imagination. I pictured that Olivia would just start daydreaming a lot. She didn't really do much of crazy daydreams, but her instinct was spot-on.
Not my favorite of Helen Fielding's books, but I did enjoy it.

    I absolutely loved this book.
Lady Sydney Hathwell comes to America to meet a man who has been arranged for her. She finds they aren't suited so she runs away. How does she do it? She dresses as a boy to get accepted by her uncle. She goes to his Texas ranch and is put to work as a boy. Some hilarious situations ensue until she is found out.
I highly recommend this book. Romance and some comedy.

I thought this was very slow at first. I almost didn't make it thru the book, but I stuck with it and I am glad I did. This isn't usually the genre I enjoy, but I thought I would give it a try. There were a lot of political terms that confused me, but I eventually caught on.
All in all, I did enjoy the book. Toward the middle of the book, it got very interesting and I couldn't put it down. I recommend this book especially if you are into biblical prophecy. I will definitely continue with the series.

I enjoyed this book. It took me longer to get thru it because I started working, but once I got going on it, I really liked it.
I kind of got annoyed at how spineless Dancy could be at times, but she did eventually speak up on some things.

I really enjoyed this book. It seems like everything I have read of Tracey Bateman's I have really enjoyed. I liked the character, Tabitha Brockman. She is a Christian soap star, who has problems with her mother and her co-workers. She falls for a guy on the set and the romance ensues. I recommend it. Great for laughs and romance.

I enjoyed this book. I saw the movie last week and thought I should read it too. The movie stuck pretty close to the book with the exception that the main character was a women in the movie. I think this book would be a great witnessing tool for non-believers. There are a lot of questions that people have that are answered in this book.

I enjoyed this book. I loved the Whitney Chronicles, so I had to read this one too!! I love how she describes the lunacy that is her job. I also love how she made her cat have humanistic feelings, emotions and attitudes. Judy Baer's sarcasm and wit cracks me up!!!!

I really enjoyed this book. Much like her other books, it is funny and just plain good. It's fun and I caught myself laughing out loud a couple times.

I enjoyed this book. I have never read Persuasion, but I was told this was based on that novel. There was a lot of needless detail about some students and their interest in certain colleges. I could have done without all that, but otherwise I did enjoy it.

I really enjoyed this book. I laughed out loud and I cried. I don't mean a few stray tears, I mean full out bawling. If you love dogs, I recommend this book.
