I love books and reading! I read anything I can get my hands on! My goal is to read every book ever written (I know it's impossible, but I can still try...right?).

This page is for all the books I've read, but I don't necessarily own them all. I make terrific use of the library and... more »

Ya I read a few VC Andrews in my early high school days, and then picked up a bunch at a library sale a couple years ago. I'm sure I'll get around to reading them "soon".

Hey hope you enjoy the activities at PBT. I'm a reader with the same habits as you, so hopefully you'll find PBT a little helpful with directing your reading like I have. Before, choosing my next book was always the hardest part because I always have so many to choose from.

The present moment is where life can be

found, and if you don't arrive there, you miss

your appointment with life. You don't have to

run any more. Breathing in, we say 'I have

arrived.' Breathing out, we say, 'I am home.'

This is a very strong practice, a very deep

    practice.

U have read about Dewey?!!! It was amazing isn't it?
I found your details based on Dewey's review.
It's good to know that we're sharing an interest to such a wonderful book.

    Happy reading!:D

    Eclectic Book Club Peeps:

All righty, let's have those nominations for our next big read. What's everyone in the mood for?

Post your selections in the "Genres" thread and we'll hash it out. If that takes too much energy, I will put all genres nominated in a hat and pick one at random!

I read Stones from the River quite a few years ago, but I remember it being well-written, enlightening with one strong and sympathetic protagonist...all the marks of a great book :)

    Hi Karajane,

    Enjoyed perusing your shelf.

Though I have to look in more detail, I noticed we have a few books in common ;)

I see you're working your way through Oprah's Book Club. Can't say I'm a fan, though I have read a few that I enjoyed, most given to me as gifts by friends who know I love to read. I notice you have This Much I Know is True by Wall Lamb. Can't say I read it, but I did read his OBC book She's Come Undone and it was excellent. If you haven't read it or don't have it on your list, you should defintely try it! I also read Stones from the River by Ursula (?) Hegi, another OBC pick and enjoyed that too.

Looking forward to trading more recos!

    Take care :)
