And yes, I do have keeper shelves for books... unfortunately for my poor, long-suffering husband Joe, collecting is another hobby. If I can collect books that I've loved and will re-read, then I get to combine two loves.
I've always thought that reading is one of the best things that anyone can learn ~ if you can read, you can learn just about anything else. Being able to read, IMO, is one of the very best things that a parent can teach their child(ren). Thankfully all four of mine ~ Stephen 24; Lisa 22½; Meagan 21 and Teresa 16 ~ are readers and well on the way to establishing their own keepers.
