I'm an Creative Writing MFA candidate at The University of Memphis, with a concentration in creative nonfiction, although I've been writing more fiction lately. Hey woman!! My summer has been fabulous. I've been taking classes the entire time, but that is how I like it. I'm just finishing up African American Female Writers with Dr. Mitchell. It has been extraordinary!

Thanks for asking to be my friend. I'm so intrigued by working on a MFA in writing. How do you do it??? And teaching undergrads- yikes my daughter is an undergrad at Univ of Delaware. I'm working on a second Master's in Early Childhood Education or a Certification in Arts Integration- still can't make up my mind. Took two classes this summer- lifelong learner that's me! Welcome to the gang. WG

Thanks for the friendship request. Everytime I look at someone else's shelf I am struck by how much I HAVEN'T read. I see a lot on your shelf that interests me. Creative non-fiction was a class that I never thought I would like but took a real shine to it. This place is pretty awesome and I've only been here a few weeks.
