I love to read on my Kindle Keyboard. I also have a basic Kindle and a Kindle Fire (original). For audible books I use an iPod Touch. I still keep some DTB's around, too.
I am a busy mom of two 19-year-olds.
I work full time as a supervisor in the payroll dept.
I enjoy knitting, music, photography, and just about all outdoor... more »

Well I tried your instructions and seemed to get most of my books transferred over. I did not bother to mark all the ones I have already read. Will go through them later and do that. I did some thing wonky for some and it looks like I might not be able to get those books moved over and how to figure which they are. OH well. LOL

Funny I was just talking to Joe about my never dreaming I would be a number cruncher because all I ever wanted to do was work for a veterinarian, which I did do for 25 years. BUT part of that work was the bookkeeping part. It turned out the bookkeepers would quit and I learned how to do it and took that part of the job too. Lots of overtime. 40 + years later I did retire.

Back to work. Thanks for the instructions. Would love to organize them in my kindle or computer some how so I can find what I am looking for. Like herbal health type stuff and mystery and information type books. Maybe I need to set up another Excel sheet. Will think on it.

    Thank you Kathy,

The instructions look easy enough. I will see if I can make it work. Today is day before chemo day for my husband so I am dashing around trying to get as much done around the house as possible to prepare to be gone all day tomorrow and Thursday. I am gaining on it. Just sitting down for a short break.

Reading your Bio What is a DTB?

AH you are a number cruncher. Payroll was not my favorite thing to do. And when I was doing it it was just done in Excel. The city did not have software until after I quit. Fortunately there were only a few employs.

Off to feed us a late lunch. Then more watering LOL and now it looks like about the time I get everything watered it might rain. What a hoot. If I did NOt water it will NOT rain. Wanna bet on it??

    Thanks again Chris

Hi kajola - Thanks for giving me and The Diaries of Pontius Pilate a shot. If you find it worthy, I ask you to recommend it to friends and family - being discovered and recommended by readers like you is the only way an emerging author like me has a chance. Hello kajola, I read Amazon has you as a member “with” Steven James “Pawn” on their shelf, so I’d like to recommend another Christian Suspense / Thriller, "The Diaries of Pontius Pilate.” It draws upon the author’s military background and has great reviews. “Diaries” is not a vanity or self-pub book, but is published by Trestle Press, a small independent press outside of Philadelphia under its imprint, Helping Hands Press, that gave a Christian novel a chance. Full disclosure - I wrote it and hope you’ll give it a chance.

    Best wishes, Joe Lewis www.josephmaxlewis.com

Hi Kajola, I hope you like my new book. I see that you work in a payroll dept and like knitting, music and photography. If I worked in a payroll dept., I'd say, "I like skimming, pilferage and embezzlement." But we can't all be the same now, can we.

After I posted and thought about it, I figured I would get the dv's. It doesn't bother me. If it makes them feel better, they can go at it - LOL! But thanks for posting the book -- I've been looking at another book similar to that one, so this will give me a chance at no cost to check it out.

Thanks for the heads - up.

    Kajola,

I look forward to hearing your thoughts and advice on my novel, The Black Dragons. I wrote the book for my teenage son, although the biggest fan group on Amazon has been adults (go figure). :-)

Thank you and I look forward to hearing from you.

Last Kiss in Venice (Legend of the White Snake)

Beside a bridge over a canal in Venice, Charlie is spell bounded not only by Caitlin’s absolute beauty but also by a mythical bond between them. The more he knows about her, the more mysterious she becomes. As they finally admit their love to each other in Paris, then move to settle down in Australia together, it looks like the start of Happily Ever After. But neither of them realizes that this is just the start of a heart-wrench love and hate journey.

After a Lifetime of searching, Caitlin finally finds her true love, settles down in the beautiful rolling countryside of outback Australia, and starts to raise a family, but her enemy is never far away. She loves Charlie deeply and is certain he is her soul mate, but she knows she can never reveal her secret, he must never know who she really is, and that is her downfall. Information in the hands of her enemy brings her life crashing down around her, in order to save all she has worked for; she must fight for her love and the right to survive.

“Last Kiss in Venice” is a reinterpretation of one of China’s most famous love stories, ‘Legend of the White Snake’. It is a supernatural love epic that encompasses both eastern and western culture to tell a story of love and hate, loyalty and betrayal, revenge and justice. This cocktail of oriental magic, vampires, and sword fights is a legend not easily forgotten.

Found the list - thank you. Still trying to figure out how to do it and how it is used.
I looked thru the "A's" under the standard designation...do the 2076 items indicate the accumulation of everybody on the Shelfari site for books beginning with that letter in the title? or what?

Been looking for 2 days now - cannot figure out what TAGS are, how to make them, and how to use them. Keep seeing the word, but no help so far. Must be easy, but I wonder if I will ever find them to be so//////
