I inhale books. I love paranormal romance, urban fantasy and sci-fi genres. I also dabble in some erotica novels. Once and a while I will adenture out side my box and try reasding something different.

I use Shelfari as guide to books I've read and authors I would like to read. Although I'm no Shakespear, I sometimes post reviews. ... more »

wow thanks for the suggestions I’ll definitely look into those series. As for Raphael, I was actually surprised how much I ended up liking the book. And FYI (and I hope I’m not ruining anything) its kind of a cliffhanger. Jabril was really good too (even though I think the cover is creepy). The vampires that DB Reynolds writes reminds me of the more simple scary vampires instead of the ones with mind powers that seem to be more of the new age vamp if that makes any sense.

Twp stands for township. :) I don't know why they call it Commerce Township, but it is a suburb of Detroit, Northwest of the actual city of Detroit. Me on the other hand, I live up at the tip of the mit., about +/-350 miles to the North in a small town surrounded by water. About as different as night and day to where your friend lives. Or as about as different as Michigan and Hawaii in the winter :)

I have 2 boys, 10 & 7. My husband does most of the homeschooling, he owns a computer shop in town and has them with him all day and gives them lessons and computer research, I help out with spelling and english basically through email while I am at work. The best advantage is they have ALOT of computer experience so no matter if we are homeschooling right or not, covering everything they need to know or not, they will most certainly be able to go into any type of job dealing with computers in the future and most likely make a lot of money doing it.

How about you? How many children? And how do you win so many contests?

Yea, my summer is going pretty crazy fast too. My hubby and I home school our kids so it is nice to not have a specific time they have to be back in school. Here in Michigan, we are not as lucky as people in lets say, Hawaii *wink* as far as the weather goes. We are lucky if we get 3 months of summer and when it goes by fast it just sucks! Next thing you know we'll be shoveling 6 feet of snow to get out our front door. Not something I look forward to let me tell ya.
Anyways, have you tried e-books? You can get alot of free ones if you search for them. It is cool though that your library has such a selection of books. Mine here doesn't have much in the way of romance. And you are hard pressed to find a popular series if it is not in hard cover although we do have a inter-library lending system that we can use. Where you can borrow books from other libraries within the state if they are reference/non-fiction books or within the Northern part of the state if they are fiction books. It helps out alot but it too can be a pain when you have to fight with more people to borrow the same book, especially if it is the newest in the series.
    Until next time...
    Take care!

Hi Kainani! How's the reading going? I'm taking a hiatus from reading, temporarily. Summer is just way too busy, besides, I have been having fun meeting new people on here and have been trying to keep up with all the discussions. And with reading...sometimes you just have to take a break from it ya know? How's your summer been so far?

Her full length books are alot better. Emma Holly was the 1st erotic romance author that I read and even though I thought that she had great stories, she was pushing the envelope with the sexuality for me (at the time, now and because of her, anything goes:)). She can be very naughty but it is still hard not to like with the way she writes. So As far as Demon's Daughter, it's a good and different paranormal story line, def. recommend it but be aware of the kink. Truthfully, I can't remember if it gets all that kinky in this book but it sure does in the later books of the series!

I think I am done for now, I have quite a few others that I have read but they are historical for the most part. I wanted to see if I could find any new friends to discuss these types of books. As they are my new obsession. So ask away and I will try to give good advice!
