Okay I'm slowly updating this shelf of mine :D Always ready to meet fellow book lovers! One little bit of trivia about me is that I dream of being locked up inside a bookstore and just read all I want *it's in an air-conditioned room too!*. It's probably because of reading E. L. Konigsburg's From The Mixed Up Files. But maybe I can make this dream a bit more realistic by actually just owning a library. Someday then, I'll surely have a huge library room that's filled with every genre there is!
Reading History:
3-5: Picture storybooks, fairytales, disney stories
6-7: Children's books, educational books, those books with moral values in them that mom always buys, read my first nancy drews, little miss and mr books
8-9: enter greek mythology, more educational books, was intimidated with the hardbound nancy drew book The Spider Sapphire Mystery, starting to read yearling newberry books, GOOSEBUMPS FTW!
10: realized that READING IS LOVE because of HARRY POTTER!! More Yearling newberry books and emergence of classics and girl power themes.
11-13: Golden age of reading, young adult novels, love for wiccan and witchcraft, started to read series and more classics
14-17: More classics, transcend to fiction and novels from young adult themes, started to read biographies and explored more genres but reading pace started to slow down due to high school stress
18-20: Reading rate has gone down drastically because of college but still loves to explore more genres. Started reading graphic novels (The Sandman) Hopes to finish 50 books by 2010 (HAHAHA YEAH RIGHT i'm doomed O_O)
