I wanted to thank you for your friendship and introduce myself. I love sneakers too, but clearly not as much as you do! That's an impressive array of styles in your profile picture. Very nice!
I would like to let you know that I'm a new author and I've been seeking out people that I think may particularly enjoy my book. Since you gave 'Twilight' five stars, I'm thinking you enjoy great romance and intriguing mysteries set against beautiful backdrops, and that my new book may be your kind of read…
The series is called Mayne Attraction and each installment is told from the perspective of one of the main characters in the love triangle at the heart of the story. It's about a girl (Ellery Mayne) who discovers that a security team has been secretly shadowing her every move. While she works to figure out the reason for this contingent of 'guardian angels', conducting experiments that test the extent of their watchfulness and helpfulness, she is drawn to one member of the detail (Ash) whom she finds to be particularly angelic and secretly reaches out to him. They hide their budding romance from the rest of his colleagues and work to solve the mystery of the danger that surrounds her. But the situation takes an unexpected turn when a successful young businessman (Gray) with a prior claim on Ellery's affections reappears in her life with the answers she seeks and hopes of rekindling their romance.
You can read excerpts from all three books at www.MayneAttraction.com. Book one, “In The Spotlight” told from Ellery’s perspective, is available now and books two and three will be released later this year. If you like what you read and would enjoy a free ebook version of the story, please let me know and I’ll send you the free coupon code. I’m particularly keen on gathering readers and reviews and I’d love for you check out Mayne Attraction and tell me your thoughts.
Thanks again, Justine, and I hope to hear from you!
Welcome to the group based on the book 1001 Books You Must Read Before You Die. There is a general explanation of the group under the discussion thread Group guidelines. The books of the month (BOTM) that the group is reading are pinned to the top. I hope you will enjoy the group and perhaps join in one or more of the monthly reads. Our February books are The Wind-up Bird Chronicles by Murakami and Of Human Bondage by Maugham. We begin choosing next month’s books about mid month. We are in the process of picking March books, see the discussion thread and join in.
