Reading has gotten me through some of the hardest times in my life. Sometimes I am hardly able to distinguish what I'm reading as fiction and nonfiction. If it feels real, it is real. Besides, 99% of fiction authors have 60% of their lives and experiences poured into their books. So in a way, that makes it real - if not to them, than to me.
