I belong to the American Christian Fiction Writers and the Romance Writers of America. I am a member of the RWA Faith, Hope and Love (inspirational) chapter and Kiss of Death (Mystery/Suspense) chapter, and two local RWA chapters--West Houston RWA and Northwest Houston RWA. I am a past president and advisor of the NWHRWA chapter, and a speaker/teacher at local and national conferences on a variety of topics and a frequent presenter at book clubs and women’s groups.
I have an Associate of Science degree and Bachelor of Science Magna Cum Laude from Western Connecticut State University, a Masters of Education from the University of Houston as well as numerous Christian school and professional organization certifications.
My husband and I live in a Victorian home on the Texas Gulf coast with our Old English sheepdog, Toby Bear. Besides writing full time, I am an antiques dealer, former public school teacher and one time DAC (Department of Army Civilian). For many years, I serve in various position in my local church Children's Ministry.
