    Skip the racism. Learn from the rest. Very much worth it if you can discard half of it.

    I'm generally pretty lax on my standards for fiction. I finished this and thought: "What a stupid book."
    Then, realizing that it was all there was to say about it, I felt compelled to say it aloud: "What a stupid book."

    A rambling, disconnected political soapbox disguised as a young-adult's novel. Abrubt ending, implausible from cover to cover. Waste of time. Don't bother.
