I really enjoyed this book. In the end, everything made sense. Oskar, the main character, was delightful. I feel like Jonathan Safran Foer could have done a better job explaining the pictures that popped up randomly in the book. Many people have criticized this book as exploiting 9/11, but I don't think it did, really. If you think about it, all art exploits pain. It takes advantage of it and uses it to create something beautiful because it's something we can relate to. And Jonathan Safran Foer did just that in this book. Fantastic job, Mr. Foer

This book is amazing, just like all John Green books. One of the things that I particularly liked about this book was that JG added a mega-serious tone to it. Most of his books are funny, then get serious, but in a light, suitable way. With this one, it was different. The tone was much heavier and the funny/serious ratio was about 1:1, which fit this book perfectly. Great job, JG. DFTBA

I absolutely hated this book. I thought it was poorly plotted and I hated the girl character, Emma. I never got a good sense of her character and she did stupid things. I've convinced myself the author purposefully wanted a self-absorbed, selfish, bratty main girl character because that's just what Emma was.

I really loved the writing of this book, I just think the author could have changed the plot a bit to make it a bit more exciting.

I really enjoyed this book and I really hope the author writes a second.

I really liked the scenario Kate Atkinson has set up for this book. Jackson, the main character, is likeable, real, and you can sympathize with him very easily. I also think the author does a great job with showing the dysfunctional situations in this book.

I enjoyed this book, but I found myself frustrated with the characters at times. The writing is beautiful and Lisa See did a really good job at conveying the traditions and culture of this time period, it just didn't interest me as much.

I enjoyed reading this book. I think Christopher Paolini has done a really good job in creating the world of Alagaesia, which has many connections to Lord of the Rings. He's given us loveable characters, a relatable protagonist, and humorous characters that pop in little tidbits when they're needed. Though he could have shortened the book by a few hundred pages, I applaud him.

This book was well-written, funny, clever, and very good. It just didn't appeal to me. It's definately a good read, though.

I liked the history part and the telepathy part and the psychology of this book. It was interesting, it was new, and it was fun. But I wasn't crazy about the surrealistic part, with the whole part about Christian's mother and the sideways place. I felt it was too confusing and it didn't flow well with the theme. But despite that, I really enjoyed it.
