hi,My word! I have been so busy with homework that I haven't been on in so long. What's new? I'm finding it hard to find a good book in my reading level without it being a stupid young adult book. Have any good suggestions for a 7th grader?poco loco

I have Buck's book ..not me actually but wateva..ill read it ..dont suppose ill get the other books round here ..if i do ill make a pt of readin it...and im not a classic fan or anything ..i barely liked a few of them ..i just happen to be graduating in a literature degree... books r the one reason i love studyin... i love the books i read as kid still ...i still rerevise my fairy tales and enid blytons... and i like books are more contemporary than the classics.. i was left speechless by cathy galss's 'damaged'... i wish i could read her hidden but they havnt even heard of her here at the bookstores
I know. Books are just the most beautiful things on earth. You learn to love yourself in some liitle character or laugh at youself when you read of braggarts andv realise that there is a bit of you there too. Its sad that people today hardly read books and even worse that many regard reading books apart from the curricula a waste of time. I've seen complacent fools who stand first in their class but know nothing beyond their books. I just wish i could make people read and tell them : there is such a mesmerising dremland in here, why do you rust your cornea at the idiot - box?Btw, since you have read such a lot of books and are actually experienced ...please recoomend good books for me. actually its not so easy for me to get books since there is a very limited literary audience in this city, but if its a book worth reading I'll get from the other end of the globe. Phew! that was too ling wasn't it? Sorry. I just can't help going on about books.Thnx for addin meTc

Hello Friend, I'll be glad when the birds come back too....although there have been some exciting birds here this winter.. I stood in the middle of the street taking pictures of a pileated woodpecker. LOLWe also have a Cooper's hawk in the neighbourhood scaring the smaller birds. It's quite interesting to watch these new birds in my neighbourhood.

That's adorable! lol. We have a baby girl, Valentine. We are so in love with her, and I can't imagine not having her in my life. How old are your kids?
Actually I just had a baby. : ) (When just actually means 5 months ago, hee) Thanks for the friend request, I like to look at friends shelves to find new reads.
Hello! I haven't read The Little House on the Prairie book. But i'm quite interested in it now. Yes, as I read the book of Princess Diana, you can really understand why she became the person she is. She's really a sad person and it wasn't really a fairy tale life for her. I also liked reading it because I learned a lot about certain personality types. Thanks for the information about my query. Enjoy your day!
Hi! Thanks for accepting me to be in your friends list. I like the picture in your profile. It looks so friendly. Anyway, i would like to ask about the books "Grandmas Attic". Are they classic books? Like the Little Women type? I'd like to look it up because it seems interesting. I like antiques and I'm sure the story would have something to do with it, isn't it? Thanks once again!

I can suggest a blog review for the Pat Pfeiffer book or perhaps ask your local newspaper if you can write a review, also. I often write book reviews for my newspaper and post them in my blogs. There are also discussion groups on sites like Shoutlife. That is an amazing Christian website similar to My Space.God Bless!

Hi! I haven't had a lot of time this summer for my friends online. So, sorry it took me a while to read your message and accept you as a friend. I can't promise to be able to respond promptly to messages, but I try with all my heart. God Bless!

I too had grand plans for my book shelf, but I started off behind in just rating. Now my goal is to get them rated and hope to review the new ones I read. My favorite memories of childhood all involve books. That is all I ever asked Santa for and birthdays etc. They are still my favorite gifts. my kids love it its easy to do Barnes and Noble gift cards.
Thanks for the invite to be a friend. I see we share similar taste for books I do love mysteries but enjoy all genres other than sifidyanny

Thank-you for accepting my invite. Nothing wrong with enjoying your summer. For me it is a time to read more :)My classes will begin again tomorrow so I probably won't be getting much reading done with the exception of my text-books for the classes I'm taking :( It's all good though because I have 4 more classes to finish up my degree :)
