It's raining hard here this morning. Grrrr.
DRACULA: HEARTS OF STONE
“I can’t wait to read more.” “If you like Dracula this is a must read.” “I found myself HEARING the characters in this story.” “One of those rare occasions when you feel you did not go wrong with an indie.” “I can’t wait to get the next in the series.”
It’s a tale of romance, vampires and wizards oh my; delectable saga of red sheriffs protecting the innocent and punishing the guilty. Dracula must step up or the world will sink into an irreversible darkness.
“I was given this book to review and I thoroughly enjoyed it. I love Piers Anthony and his Xanth series, so to see him in this book was a thrill. It's nice to see Dracula in a "nice" light for a change and I can well imagine why he would be feeling so suicidal given that he has lived centuries. What could be new for him? Well, something is and I won't give it away. I can't wait to get the next in the series.”
The sequel Dracula: Hearts of Fire is now available.
The adventure continues as 12-year-old Jenny goes out in search of herself and to learn the ways of wizards. Dracula is happier than he has been in centuries but he senses that big trouble is on the horizon.

There are some passionate kissing scenes, one fade-to-black sexual encounter further into the series once they are in a committed relationship- no details but you are fully aware of what they are about to do. I'd say it's probably on a par, or perhaps slightly higher in sexual content than, say, Twilight, but not by too much. It's more violent than the likes of Twilight because she's a fighter/slayer. There are kidnapping situations where people are fed on against their will....what else...you might find it inappropriate that the love interest is older and is her teacher at the school...It probably is one of the more Adult of Young Adult series out here now that I think about it.
Hi Josie, this is Christina how are you doing?. A while back you read C I N and gave me an honest review which I am super grateful for! Thank you, I will start with her Dragon Series then. I believe I have those books around here somewhere. I'm not sure when I will start the books, but I will put them higher on my TBR list.
Wow, first four books in four days, that is great...I need time off to do that too.
Wow, you are reading more books at the same time. Sometimes I do that too, one book at home and one book at work, but not always. Mostly I will stick to one book at the time, because I want to give it my full attention...lol...Let me know what you think abotu Rapture untamed by Pamela Palmer, I have that one waiting for me to read it...with a lot of other books.
I still need to read the Katie MacAlister books, those are somewhere on my TBR pile among so many other books. But I will read them eventually.
Oh that is so sweet of your husband. He is getting all the Christine Feehan books for you. Good luck with reading those, it's a huge amount, but I think they are worth it. Let me know when you are going to start with them.
I have read almost all the Argeneau books, only the last two...so I'm going to wait with getting "Born to Bite" till I'm there. But I know it's coming...lol...
I finished Night Game by Christine Feehan this afternoon...and of course I loved it. Now I have to see what I'm going to read next.
yah im not inlove with all of the books in her series but i do love alot of them im just on book 8 or something , they are not bad just blah like sins of the night i just finished it was ok but they only reason i enjoyed it was becouse i learned soo much about ash.
i just finished sent of darkenss by christina dodd that was realy good i liked it. and when blood calls by jk beck i loved that one.. what are you reading?
Let me know what you think of Feehan, when you are going to start them. Some readers love her books and others don't really get into it. And as a huge fan of her, I'm always interested to see what others think about these series.
I know what you mean about waiting on new books to come out and that it seems like forever...I think ever reader has that problem.
What are you reading now ?
Hi Josie, thanks for the friendship request.
Great, you are collecting the Christine Feehan books. Yes, I recommend that you read the books in order. You can read them seperately, but there is always a storyline, which will come back in all the books after that. I'm a huge fan of Feehan's books, especially the Dark series/Carpathian and I really advice you to read them in order, just to understand the story behind the species.
