Any Historical sagas to reccommend to me? I want to read something historical, either fiction or non-fiction, or both.

I've never read Susan Wiggs, so I can't recommend anything from her...but I love the Dark Series by Christine Feehan...its got a lot of adventure and killing/save the world for the men and yet it has the sappy romance stuff that we as females love. I haven't got my husband to read the books, but he has listened to them on audio. Another great series is Feral Warriors by Pamela Palmer! As for a romance devotional...the closest thing I've read that has been published would be the book Redeeming Love. You can find it on my Shelf - very loving touching story.

that photo is pretty cool. It reminds me of those 3D image puzzles that were popular a few years ago. When I first looked I can honestly say I had no idea what you were talking about.. but after staring at it for 30 seconds or so.. I started to see it.

Ooh, that's a scary picture. I have made the mistake of looking at it in bed and now I'm too freaked to turn the light out!

Huummm, Interesting but I'm not one to believe too much in ghosts. Guess I'm going to have to get my hands on Devil's Verse sometimes in the near future but I'm reading 4 books right now plus my other "activities". May be a while until I get to it. Have you read any of Bart Erhman's books? Quite interesting.

    Hi there,
No, I have not read "Neverwhere" as of yet. Unfortunately I think it is further down on a long list of "to reads." I'm currently reading "The Gril with the Dragon Tattoo," which is an extremely good and well written Mystery/Thriller. And yes, I also read "The Alchemist" a month or two ago and enjoyed it. I think I wrote a brief review on it. :)
Hope you are well-- never found your facebook page.

Haha, no. It's actually a science fiction novel meant for adults with completely different characters. I didn't like it as much, but that's just my own personal tastes. I prefer fantasy to scifi, so that's probably why.

Yeah, I'm looking forward to perusing it. I've pretty much read all of Spong's books. He's an interesting character. Best to start with his autobiography, Here I Stand. He makes an interesting case for not totally giving up on god, albeit, a non-thiestic being I think.

You should definitely write about your years living in Russia! I am in love with stories of living abroad! Actually, my daughter lives in Prague. I am able to visit her often and stay several weeks, and have my own bedroom, so I feel almost like I live there. Maybe one day I'll write . . . maybe . . .

Yeah, I think it was like an "attack of the insects" type of story. The crazy guy had a basement full of difference insects. And that story got more spookier as you read on! Have you read it yet? Thank you for your compliment on my review.
