My mom recently told me she was really surprised that I became a science teacher, because she always thought I'd be a writer or an artist! Oh well, she has a point. I do love to read and have always loved it. I usually read to escape...so I tend toward fiction. I will say that I also read a "healthy" dose of self-help! :-)

I try to write but I haven't found my voice yet. (Is it too late when you are 42?) I have read all of the books on my shelf, but I may not own them any longer since I tend to give them away when I am done. I'll be looking through all the shelves for good recommendations. JoS « less
