Hi Jorran, This is Linda from Fictfact. My name here is Linda T. I hope I have the correct Jorran. : )
Before 1770 I think. I found out about my Jamaican ancestors when I took an autosomal DNA test on 23andMe. So far I have only been able to find my ancestors in Amherst, Virginia cir 1790. On that line I have been able to trace to an Isabella Williams.
Thanks for following me! I'm following you now as well. I've always wanted to visit Jamaica. Especially now that I found out I have Jamaican ancestors.
Hi, Thanks for the follow. I see we have a lot of the same books on our shelves :-)
Hi Jorran, Just a note to say thank you for following me. It is really nice to meet you. I see we like to read many of the same authors.
Hi Jorran,
I added in many of my books by glancing at other people's shelves and then hitting add as I recalled what I'd read. It was sort of a fun process that I'm still adding to as one book triggered memories of other similar books or ones read during particular ages in my life. In another post in 12 X 12, I indicated that years ago, I did read romance for a few years, but the titles and plots started to blur together for me and it has been so long that none of those appear on my shelves.
I'm guessing that living on an island tends to increase the costs of many items and not just the book taxes you spoke of. I'd love to go to the Caribbean some day. I'm a beach lover, but the Pacific water off northern CA is not conducive to lots of swimming except on very hot days being rather cold water.
Yay a fellow C. L. Wilson fan! Thanks for the follow :)
Whew! I really didn't want you to read these out of order. You get the most out of the series starting from the beginning.
Do you use an e-book reader?
Jorran--
Saw your post about the In Death books. It sort of makes a difference when you read them out of order. At a minimum, I would recommend you read the first book before any of the others. I'm attaching a link to the group for this series, specifically the book list to help you with the order.
This is my most favorite series, ever, which is the reason for this message. I SO want you to enjoy it as I and many others do. Hope this is helpful.
