Just a reminder that there will be a group read of Sharpe's Tiger by Bernard Cornwell in the Greenjackets' Inn. If you want to join in, let us know in the Groups Read thread.

Thanks for adding me as a friend John. Also just wanted to add that I got hooked on Tranter's stories while on vacation in Scotland. I had a chance to visit the Wallace Monument and picked up his book there and have been reading his books ever since. Pick up a copy of "High Kings and Vikings" by Nigel Tranter when you get a chance, I think you might enjoy it.

I see you have a few Nigel Tranter novels on your shelf, he was one of the best.

Half way through Legend of the Vikings. Thanks for the book. How much research did you do before writing this book?
