Joanne

Joanne

The first book I've ever read for my own enjoyment was JRR Tolkien's Lord of the Rings and I fell in love with books. It took me a long time to find the book that would make me read, but when I found it, I never stopped. And I'm glad I didn't.

Not much these days, just working for the most part and reading. Still working on Anita Blake. I'm up to Incubus Dreams. Couple more left. I really have had it in my tbr pile forever, Gargoyle, just never get around to it. Maybe I will now knowing others haven't read it and are wondering about it.

What are you up to? How is the schooling going?

    Sorry for the delay...

So, do you want to work with the people in the Army (whichever one, who cares?) when they come back from war/peace-keeping missions or do you want to work alongside them when they are, say, in Afghanistan?
Nevertheless, you're going to be meeting a lot of HOT people. :P

The prospect of staying idle for a long time seems really good at the beginning, but I, too, would go crazy if I didn't have anything to do. I tried not doing anything for about a month (duing summer) last year and no matter how many TV shows or movies I watched, no matter how many books I read, I was bored out of my mind! So, I need a purpose in life. lol

I love languages, too, but other than the Romance languages (not that I know all of them) and a couple of Middle Eastern/Indian languages, all others sound like gibberish (no offense meant if I'm inadvertently referring to your mother tongue) to me. Or rather, like a bunch of random sounds put together for no apparent reason.
How many languages do you know at the moment?

Oooo...I love cameras, too. And photography.
I have actually been taking classes in school for the past year and a bit.
But the D2000 is one expensive camera, even without the lens. My parents would NEVER buy me that. They'd tell me to go buy it with my own money - which doesn't amount to this one's price. **sniff**

So, you're a spoilt child, too! Kidding...
Did you know that having one kid is the greener choice. My mum gives me this reason whenever I ask her how come I don't have any siblings. **rolling my eyes**

Criminal psychology is the coolest, but I might be influenced by some of the books that I've read whereas in reality it might turn out to be not as cool as portrayed.
    Lucky you! Moving to Italy!!!!
It's a shame that you'll be wasting a year. What do you plan to do in the interim?
To our parents, we are always their baby, no matter how old we get. I think this is more so if you're an only child, which I am.
