I would recommend it if you have liked animal farm, etc. But if you are looking for a page turner, fast-paced read, then this is not it. It is kind of slow at times, but extremely powerful. Intense.

hiya Emily, i see you've read Flowers in the attic, is it any good?. I've seen the movie and it could have been better but i did like the story :).

Haha yeah i agree all the vampires are great and spike is very very sexy :D. I've never heard of Laurell. K. Hamilton's vampire novels. Are they any good?
Haha, i'm totally the same, but mostly it's always the movie first :D. Erm.. my favourite vamps are Spike, Angel, Drusilla and Darla from BTVS and Lestat and Claudia from The interview with the vampire. I don't really have just one fave :D.Whats your fave vamp/vamps?
Well i hope you enjoy the film. I love anything to do with vampires :).Yeah i've seen the film, it's really good. I watched it before reading the book, i tend to do that with all the books i plan to read. Do you do that or do you read the book first?
Yeh i know what you mean about people overating things, i'll try and get around to reading them after the million other books i plan to read,lol. Gone with the wind is really good, i'm almost finished it but it has took along time (i'm not the quickest reader :D). So, you looking forward to seeing twilight?, i'll probably wait till it comes out on DVD.
