But my parents live in Everett WA, and so I'm accustomed to say that's where I'm from, and if I talk about 'friends back home', they probably live somewhere in the Puget Sound, or at least used to.

And most of my extended family's in the twin cities. Although the ones in California are kinda cool. « less
