    Just taking 5400. I plan on taking two classes this summer then I'll have two left before graduating. I'm taking the "snail" path!

    Hi Jen- My New year has been great so far! Hope yours is also good.
    I did take the 5300 class summer of 2010. AFTER I took the class and switched to my current adviser Dr. Figa, I learned from her that the class is kind of considered an "easy A" kind of course and she recommended I not take it but instead buy the textbook and read it. Too late for me! It really was a pretty light-weight class, but if you have no management experience (like me) then it might be a good intro to that topic within the lens of libraries. Not very many assignments and most were easy to complete. Hope that helps!

    Hi Jen,
    Wow, national guard? Does that mean you could be called up for service overseas? I bet you stay busy!
    As for classes, I want to take that Multi-Cultural class. Maybe I can slip it in even thought it's not in my degree plan. Are you planning on being a school librarian?
    I just finished 5330- Academic Libraries- I enjoyed it and felt I got some good information. Since I am doing the Youth Services plan of study, I have added some special library classes to my degree plan in order to broaden my degree a bit.
    Next semester I am taking storytelling with the E team again. have you taken that class?

    Did you survive the Spring semester? :) I really enjoyed 5445- hope I can take a couple more from the E team this next year. Are you taking any classes this summer or are you one the lucky ones that graduated this past May?

    Hi Jen! Thanks for friending me. I was looking at your books you plan on reading and noticed Into the Wild. My daughter started reading that series around 4th grade (she's now a freshman in HS) and LOVES them! She still has them all in hardcover (paperbacks just didn't hold up to the multiple readings) and still wants to keep reading the series even though she would never admit that to her friends. Let me know how you like it. Did you enjoy Lyddie? I really like Paterson as an author. Bridge to Terabithia was one of my favorites as a child. See you around in class.
