Several of my favorite authors are J.R.R. Tolkien, Jane Austen,... more »

I know how that goes, big time, Jimi! Time seems to be an enemy and not an ally. The best we can do is our best. I know you are doing that! Thanks for letting me hear your spirit!

Hey, Haven't talked to you in a while! I just came on here for the first time in months to add some of the books I have read recently. Too many to post that it becomes overwhelming. Keep in touch!

LOL! I thought you would have most everything on my bookshelf already! I haven't finished looking through your shelf yet, but there are definitely books we have in common... other than the obvious Tarot books and decks...

Proust and the Squid explores the topic of the history of reading and ho it changed the human brain. For 2000 years of human history we only had oral traditions. The Sumerians are crdited with the earliest form of written tradition.

    Hiya,
Sorry I've taken so long to reply.

Because I've bought a few of the Austen sequels on Amazon they send me recommendations about other similar books. Sometimes they've been good suggestions, other times I wish I hadn't bothered!

Hello! Well I'm not sure if I read 50 books in a year or not. I check out the group, but I'll start keeping track somewhere or do you do it there.. Thanks for the invite, brother Void had mentioned the site, but I was looking into joining the BookMooch site so didn't. But when I got your invite I decided it was time.
