Have to get all the three books.Saw the cafe in Khan Khalili market which supposedly was the favourite haunt of the writer.Such an intriguing place!Am reading a book called The Music Room by an Indian author calledNamita Devidayal. It is essentially about her music teacher and her life and times.Fascinating only for those interested in the traditions of Indian Classical music.

on arundhati- yes she is a strong and articulate voice. i read her in outlook but missed the 9 is not 11... she had done one of the best stories on big dams and what they do to resources .... i am now delving into my spirit... going for vipassana - a 10 day long silence and mindfulness

Welcome to the club- we are both online and real world. Our first meeting was over The Palace of Illusions- a retelling of the epic Mahabharat from the eyes of a woman character- very interesting for us who know the Mahabharat and how male it is. Beloved the next book is much tougher to read.
