Greetings, fellow Shelfarian. I'm a prolific but very picky reader. I only think one out of every 25 or so books that I read is excellent, and will reliably give those five stars. There may be some appallingly lousy titles on my "plan to read" shelf, but this is unintentional: if I read them and find them not above mediocre, they will vanish without a trace. I'm well versed in female writers of the American South. I abhor modern American thrillers with foil covers. I'm a decorated member of the Shelfari group Anglophiles Anonymous and am working on the "1001 Books You Must Read Before You Die" (2006 edition). « less
