Ha! 15 pages barely touches the service. I just looked in my book software (Book Collector) where I keep up with what I have and I have 696 chick lit books. And that does not include the ones I have bought to play on my mp3 player...wish they all could come that way, it's so much easier and faster...I can bascically read all day that way lol.
As for recommendations...my favorites authors are Stephanie Laurens (My #1 author, I would go without food to read her books! She also does series books, so the secondary character in a book you often fall for will have a story soon too. A little on the Explicit side in her bed play also), Julia Quinn (If you want to laugh and fall in love at the same time, she has the best sense of humor), Suzanne Enoch (She likes powerful women), Kasey Michaels (I am currently reading her latest in The Becket's of Romeny Marsch Series..I fly to the store each time a new one comes out), Gayle Callen (She writes like I do, so I love her), Jo Beverley (She is intense, will get you all emotional and involved and yelling you stupid idiot when the Hero or Herione go dumb lol), Karen Hawkins (Almost all hers are based in Scotland), Mary Balogh ( I love her Bedwyn series, set of brothers and sisters that I just fell in love with.), Sabrina Jeffries (another author that writes in my style). I have tons of authors I love to read, but these are the ones I adore most and cannot miss when they release their newest.
Friend, try some of it! Best choices, pursuit of God, art of war, the problem with pain, rich dad poor dad, and more than conquerors. Though some are quite old but It indeed inspires, develops character and guides your daily living. You will not regret it. I seldom reads fiction books. But one of my favorite is screwtape letter by CS lewis. Somebody lend me to read it before during my college days. But the message is still clear to me until now. Though fiction, it is practically true to our christian life. I'm trying to own one but this is no longer available in most bookstores here in the Philippines. Musta na nga pala? How about you, what are the best choices in your shelf?
