My name is James, I'm 24 and from Ireland and I am engaged to my gorgeous fiancee Shanna who's in the picture. I just finished my 4-year college degree in chemistry and now plan to go full gear reading all the books I have. I am a big fan of the sci-fi genre in movies, TV programs and of course books. I love space opera especially but will read anything in the genre from disaster-type books to sci-fi thrillers and conspiracies. I am a big fan of Allen Steele, Isaac Asimov, Stephanie Meyer and David Brin. My hobbies along with reading include writing my own works which I do very often and am currently working on a six book series and fanfiction novellas for twilight and the hunger games. I also like movies, music, weight training and the outdoors. I am a slow reader so perhaps I haven't read as much as others but got plenty books in my shelf just waiting to get to! I joined the site not just for books but for networking because I don't often meet people in daily life who share my taste in books!
