Just got my "amazon-login" when I went to sign in....other than that, don't really know the significance of the change.hope you're having fun in Boca...the boys look like they're enjoying the snow
you probably know that the movie is coming out in december...with Johnny Depp.
did you like the tourist? just ordered it from the library..
what do you think of the current books you're reading (Caught, Sea Glass and One)? I've got both the audio and hardback copies of Caught...I'm having trouble getting into it...never had that before with a HC book...I just finished "Drive" from the library...loved it soooo much I went and bought a copy...barely started "the Happiness Project" and went out and bought my own copy to read and UNDERLINE...loved!!! both of these books (just started the HP...but it's great).Hope you're having a good weekend....I'm going to Art in the Park today, should be a nice way to spend a Sunday afternoon.later, vicki
thinking of going into the real estate market? I'm curious!
Am showing Shelfari to Shannon...trying to convince her to join up! can't wait to see you next weekend...take care...I'll call soon...vik
Sara and I were just talking about the "dragon tattoo" book...let me know what you thingk.....and I copied and change my pic too....I'm blonde now...and waiting for the "have more fun" part to begin!
Thanks! I keep forgetting about the Screwtape Letters, I'll check our church library. I was just thinking I might read The Red Tent again, it's been a while and I really enjoyed it. If I stumble on any others, I'll let you know. ;-)
Oh I hate scary books, I almost didn't read it for that reason! It turned out not to be very scary but I certainly understand! Any other Christian Fiction you would recommend?
Hi! I'm so thankful you led me to the Mark of the Lion series, I really enjoyed it. I just read This Present Darkness by Frank Peretti, have you read? It's been out for probably 20 years, I'm a little slow!
I'm actually not....but I am in severe withdrawl. I'm reading a Nevada Barr book...takes place in Big Bend NP...can't wait to finish it and get my Eve/Roarke fix...what will I do when I finish #30?
I've given up trying to read or listen to ANYTHING else other than the Robb books...I'm so addicted and can't believe it....I've turned in all other books I had checked out, not even trying to keep up the pretense that I'll read them until I've FINISHED the entire series (I think that's 29 or 30 total). I'm packing the next three books to take with me (7 days...3 books...not sure it's enough), the only ones that THREE libraries had are all hardbacks...must weigh 5 extra pounds. I'm starting #18 on the plane today....later....vik
I'm listening to it and I do like it. I'm keep wondering where it's all going though...I'm sure I'll listen to the second book (if I can find it in audio), but so far, I don't feel the "I need to drop everything else" frame of mind...the neat thing is though, last May, I was in all those same towns in Washington (LaPush, Port Angeles, Forks, 1st and 2nd beach) that she refers to....that part is kind of cool; but I think I'm glad I'm experiencing the book AFTER I've been there....wonder what kind of marketing things are going on in those places since the books popularity?
so, what do you think of Eve & Roarke? Did you like the new John Grisham book? I have it ready to read....
I just noticed that we've read "206" of the same books...I thought that number would be alot higher...guess it's all of those "travel/adventure books" you've been missing out on. Did you like "Plum Spooky"?
just finished "mermaids in the basement" by michael west...really good, reminded me a little of the ya ya's...started it this morning..finished it this afternoon...one of those kinds of books. call me when you get back..cant wait to hear about your trip and see your pics...YOU DID TAKE SOME, DIDN'T YOU? (I think you should just give up taking them, and have your own personal photographer go with you on all your trips...I know someone who does less-than-professional work, but she's pretty good, cheap too...really, really, cheap...let me know if you want her name)
how are the two fiction books you're reading? recommend them?
how are you liking "various flavors of coffee"?
Is the color of law good? and what is the vampire series you like (I couldn't find it on your read-page)? thanks. v
Was the Beach House good? I love beach houses!
