I love romance and mystery novels, especially paranormal. I love fantasy books about faeries, vampires, wereanimals and such. I like strong witty heroine's. I love a book that pulls you into it. That leaves you feeling the way that the character is. I dont mind heart felt books that make you cry, or those that make you blush and fan yourself, I... more »

    Your most welcome ;)
As for Feehan.. Dark Prince is the start. With these ( The Dark Series) it is best to read in order. You will get all sorts of confused if you don't..lol
This is the link to her website. She has them in order there..Happy Reading!

    Hello again!
I was checking out your shelf and noticed you do not have Christine Feehan (The Dark series or Drake Sisters) She is a fantastic author and if your like me wanting the series to last and last the dark series is a good place to start. A few others I have read that are really good .. Jacquelyn Frank (Nightwalker series) Lara Adrain ( The Midnight Breed series) she is alot like JR Ward.. but still very good!!! Let me know what you think of them if you decide to read them ;)
    Have a great evening ..

Hey, sorry for not replying earlier. Sherrilyn Kenyon is one of my favourite authors. I have just started reading Bad Moon Rising. I have read and loved all of her books. I would highly recommend them to everyone. Enjoy!!!

Thanks so much, Jessica! If you do, please send me a note as I'd love to hear what you thought of it. I see you have a taste for heroines, so your opinion would be much appreciated in any case. Warmest regards to you!

Hi Jessica, yes I have watched it. I love the show. Though I like the book version better ;) Whats new how are things? I have been crazy busy and haven't gotten over here in a while. I finished the Demonica series this week. I loved it. Its up there in my top favorites. I started the first Kim Harrison book last night but I was so tired I only made it through 10 pages. Hopefully I can get into it this weekend.

You are so cute! OK confession, I bought a bigger purse just so I could fit any size book in it to take with me. My husband makes fun of me all the time and even gets a little miffed if I read too much while he is home ( he feels ignored). Working at B and N is a cool job, the only down side is I get so many recommendations I can't keep up with my to be read list! Right now I am trying to broaden my experience past SF/Fantasy, I am currently reading James Rollins Sigma Force novels. They are really good! It's like historical fiction+science nerds+ black opps. I know it won't be long until the vampires, witches and demons call to me though...lol

Wow you are a busy lady! I've never heard of the Larrisa Iones Demonica series, what's it about? I really love Kim Harrison's books but I have to say Jim Butcher is my very favorite author. If you have not read any of his stuff you should try him, the Dresden Files are fun (yes there are vampires(: ) I'm trying to stretch past my usual SF/Fantasy reading so I am always open to suggestions!

Hi Jessica, enjoy your vacation. I have not been to Florida in so many years. From what I remember I really enjoyed it.

I know for a fact I will reread Night Huntress at some point. Those books are in my keep pile not my trade pile.

I have not read the Fever series yet. I do have the first book. I have really enjoyed Karen Marie Moning's Historicals. She is a really great writer.

Yes True Blood starts Sunday night. I am excited about it. I got HBO last year just for True Blood and ended up keeping it because I also watch Big Love. So now I will just keep it year round. I think you can also buy True Blood on iTunes. Though I hope the show sticks around I want it to go to season 5 so I can get my fix of Eric and Sookie!

I really, really liked Pleasure Unbound. I am just finishing up a Janet Evanovich book that I have been listening to / reading now for like 6 mos lol. Then I am heading right back in to finish Demonica. Not sure what I will read after that but I have like 90 something books at home in my TBR pile.

Yes Jeaniene Frost Night Huntress! Its one of my all time favorites besides Sookie!

I am so glad you didn't spill those 2 sentences to me. I would of been like oh man ;) Though I always love spoilers for my tv shows not sure how I feel about it for books :)

I had a Sookie marathon and finished the series in about 3 weeks. I read Dead and Gone and I really enjoyed I wonder what is up Eric at the end there what is he not telling her. God I can't wait for a new Sookie book. I get sad when I finish such a good series and have to wait for another book. I loved the pay off in Dead and Gone I such an Eric and Sookie shipper! Though True Blood starts this weekend. So at least I can get a fix that way.

HI Jessica, yes I am reading Sherrilyn Kenyon books. I have to take a break from them too cause they are just too much all at once. I think I am up to book 8. I cannot remember which is Unleash the Night off the top of my head ;). Been trying to finish them so I can read Acheron. He is my favorite character. I have not read CT Adams. I have read the first JD Ward book. It was pretty good. I was thinking of reading the second one after I finish Demonica. If you have not read Night Huntress series yet I highly recommend it. I am dying for the 4th book in that series. It will be out the end of July.

I am so glad you enjoyed that one. While you are waiting for the J.R. Wards, you may want to try Kresley Cole's A Hunger Like No Other. This one had Valkyrie aka Shield Maidens, Vampires, Lykae aka were-wolves, the Furiae who are she warriors who punish evil men LOL, wraits, witches, and ghouls. I found it great. I had a hard time putting it down. If you try it, let me know what you think.

Hi there! I'm just dropping by to welcome you to The 100+ Book Challenge. The idea of the group is pretty much self explanatory - try to read 100 or more books in a one year period. If you do have any questions, please feel free to send a message to me or Tenia. In the meantime, good luck reaching your goal!

The only reason I would suggest not to read Devil May Cry before Dream Hunter is because a character in Dream Hunter plays a significant role which is not fully explained. But in Devil May Cry, that same character is fully explained. So, I would suggest not to read out of order. I know it's hard but you have to get the full experience of the series. I promise, you will not be disappointed. So, while you're waiting, I want to offer some alternative suggestions: Larissa Ione's Demonica series or Lara Adrian's Midnight Breed Series. I thought both series were great.

BTW, how are you enjoying Dead After Dark? I am having the most difficult time with that book. And I have the box set to finish.
