I'm a journalist in Los Angeles and recently entered grad school, majoring in creative writing. I am married to a wonderful man who likes to golf and we have two cats: Little Fat Twitchy Baby and Oscar Wilde. My biggest problem is procrastination. Other than that, life is GOOD!

Besides reading, my interests are travel, nutrition, history, science, architecture, art, music, animals (especially cats), board games, watching period films and documentaries, and almost anything French. I hate escargot and foie gras (yuck!), but I do love eating well and enjoy preparing raw gourmet dishes. I'm a raw foodist, meaning that I am a vegan and rarely eat anything cooked.

I am most happy in a room filled with books, and even more so if that room includes a bottle of red wine, some dark chocolate and a purring cat. « less
