Owner and self-proclaimed Genius of TeensReadToo.com (You can find the TRT reviews here at http://www.shelfari.com/teensreadtoo). This is my personal account, where I post reviews of books I read for fun, in my spare time. Actually, now that I think about it, I don't really HAVE any spare time, but I still always manage to find time to read!
Some people see my bookshelves and become frightened. Please do not despair. I read a variety of genres - and by variety, I mean that I'll pretty much try anything at least once.
I have lots of reading loves: zombies; weird horror; gay and lesbian; supernatural; Star Trek; urban fantasy; inspirational/Christian fiction; Buffy the Vampire Slayer; true crime; cozy mysteries; slash-and-dash, slice-and-dice thrillers; non-fiction about anything that sounds interesting; YA and teen; books dealing with the Jehovah's Witnesses religion; stories that deal with 9/11; books about dogs/cats/armadillos (okay, not really armadillos - yet!).
Basically, if it's a book, and it sounds rather appealing, I'll read it (or at least attempt to). No, I don't always finish a book I start, but I'll always give it the old college try. I don't read much fantasy/sci-fi/paranormal, unless it's contemporary, and the one genre I don't read (wow, hard to believe, isn't it?) is historical fiction.
That's it in a nutshell. I try to write unbiased reviews that honestly tell how I feel about a book, without being a vampire slayer to some poor author's baby.
If you ever need to get in touch (specifically if you want to recommend more books I should read!), it's easiest to reach me at admin@teensreadtoo.com.
FYI: Books listed on my I PLAN TO READ shelf are all titles I currently own, but just haven't made their way to the top of my TBR pile yet. Yes, it's very sad that I spend this much money on books!
