I agree with your opinion on the ending of Tess. It was very abrupt, and tragic, too.I have not read Don Quixote, although I am familiar with it because I have seen the musical Man of La Mancha. Have you seen the musical?Tell me what you think of the book when you finish it, okay?

Hello there!You posted to my thread on '1001 books to read before you die'. I actually found Veronika Decided to Die to the only one of Coelho's books which I could appreciate. The rest, I just found too simplistic.Don Quixote is I think one of the most difficult books to read! It's size is so initimidating and the cast of characters is just too long! Still, I wish you all the best and I hope you enjoy it!Pooja
