Hi! I am a stay at home mom and book lover! I enjoy all types of books and have fond memories of many that I have read throughout my life. I have rediscovered adult literature in the past few years and find it really satisfies my desire to use my brain, travel and see the world through different eyes. I hope you enjoy browsing my shelf and... more »

Oh, also about TTW - I've gotten mixed reviews and have been hedging because I hear it is sad - but I think I'm going to give it a shot.

    Hi Jennifer!

This is a neat site, my neighborhood just started a book club a year ago so this will come in handy! Hope all is well with you all!

    Hey Jen-
Great site - thanks for the invite! I won't spoil you on HP7 though it surpassed every expectation I could have possibly had. Nice that you've read the LOTR series - I made it through the Hobbit but can't seem to take on the trilogy - oh well, I'm sure admiring Orlando Bloom in the movies counts for something! You'll see my page is 90% romance, 5% fantasy, and 5% children's - Katie is not a reader, but Jacob loves it! If you ever want to take a walk on the lighter side, I'll be happy to recommend some of my favorites; I promise most of them are exceedingly well written despite the stigma of being a "romance" ...

Hey Sis! Thanks for inviting me! This looks really fun! My roomate just got one of the books from your list "the devil in the white city" in the mail from his grandmother. maybe i'll read that after he does. my roomate and i both spent last weekend reading harry potter 7. I finished it on sunday morning and have since been calling mom and dad's house to figure out who else has finished the book. the four of them at home are sharing one copy and passing it around. ha ha! i think jo might have actually finished already.

Jennifer: I love this! Thank you for including me! You have some great books on your shelf. . .I haven't read a grown up book in ages, but Time for Bed is one of Claire's favorites. Hope you are doing well. . .Off the cuff some favorites of mine are Painsong by Kent Haruf, Cold Mountain by Charles Frazier, Interpretor of Maladies by Jhumpa Lahiri, and Gilead by Marilynne Robinson’s. . .

Hi Jennifer. I don't know if I want anyone else to know what I'm reading. You young women actually read books that have substance. Meanwhile I'm wallowing in the mystery section. Actually I'm branching out trying to ward off Alzheimers (perhaps too late). I just used a Christmas gift card and got The Kite Runner and Eat, Love and Pray. Seriously, thanks for including me. It sounds like fun. Love, Joan
