I love to read, obviously. I read anything fiction. I am not really down with the non fiction. Every once in awhile I will read a non fiction book that I really like but most of the time I put them down as soon as I start. Fantasy books and young chick lit books seem to be a main staple in my library. I have a bad habit of going to book stores... more »

Not something I would normally pick up but my book club picked it for this month. It was an exceptionally fast read, i read it in about an hour. The author is definately engaging but there were parts of the book i didnt understand why they were included if the book was written as a letter to her daughters on where their story began.

Completely far-fetched idea about how all missing poeple and things end up in one place called HERE and how one woman who obsesses over missing things/people ends up there and makes her way back. Weird. Not something I will probably read again.

I really enjoyed this book. I don't know if it was due to relating to the topic or because the grief and emotions felt by the characters seemed real and not contrived but I would recommend this book to anyone. The author took a tragic event that occured to her and through her grief was able to write this amazing story of a group of women who all come together through their pain and help one another find peace and understanding.

Hard to really get into at first and while the story is as cliched as the next young woman keeps falling for the wrong kind of man, it does have a twist where the guy who dumped her before realizes exactly what he's given away and comes back hoping for a second chance and truely seems to mean it. While every girl out there gets dumped by the guy she wishes she could change, most of them never get the chance to have the guy come back. Highly unlikely ending in my opinion. But I do love the endearing friendships she has in the book with her friends and family.

I recently lost my daughter and while in my heart I knew that she was in heaven, this book showed me proof that what I believed was in fact true. I was given this book by my father in law right afterwards but I could not bring my self to read it then. Now I am so glad that I did.
