2012 READING GOAL: 25 BOOKS BY DECEMBER 31, 2012. br/ I am a family law attorney and the mother of 3 amazing children. br/ br/ I love all kinds of books, from photography (nothing too graphic, however) to classic children s tales. I mostly read non-fiction in the Social Sciences/Political Science realm and well-crafted, detail-rich fiction. I ve read so many books in my life, that it s not hard for me to predict endings, etc., so I like an author who can write beyond the predictable plot line and keep me guessing all the way. br/ br/ I am a member of one small in-person book club made up of other female attorneys in the area. Each month s selection is from a different genre and these wonderful lady lawyers have proven to have excellent tastes in the written word. I look forward to several years of great reads along side my new book-loving friends. br/ br/ I also follow other online book discussion groups, always on the prowl for the next book that will change the way I see the world. « less
