I'm a recent law school graduate who is now moving into the hell of studying for the Bar exam. I am the mother of 3 amazingly patient children -- not so much patient with everyday things, but extremely patient with their mother and soon-to-be step-father who seem to be professional students. :)
I am engaged to be married to the love of my life. We met in high school and as fate would have it, we went our separate ways for several years, but having loved and lost along the way, we finally found our way back to each other. We are both avid readers and constant students of life. We have recently started the practice of reading books together and discussing them as we read along. It's added another wonderful dimension to our already intense connection and it's a practice we hope to carry forward for all the years of our life together.
I love all kinds of books, from photography (nothing too graphic, however) to classic children's tales. I mostly read non-fiction in the Social Sciences/Political Science realm and well-crafted, detail-rich fiction. I've read so many books in my life, that it's not hard for me to predict endings, etc., so I like an author who can write beyond the predictable plot line and keep me guessing all the way.
